Meet Coach Froh, the head wrestling coach at Bonita. Froh has been at Bonita for 10 years and plans to keep going for many more.
Over the past decade, he’s watched the wrestling program grow in ways that he never imagined. Year after year, he pushed athletes past their limits and turned Bonita wrestling into a special sport.

One thing the coach loves most about Bonita is the kids and the drive they have for their sport. He sees how motivated the athletes are, and their determination makes coaching rewarding and inspires him to show up every day ready to push them a little further.

A fun fact about Coach Froh that his athletes might be surprised to learn is that he was in a school’s musical! During his senior year, he played in a musical called “ Little Abner”.

Coach Froh believes that sports are “meant to be fun,” and he emphasizes that wrestling is not just about competition but about growth. To him, the program is a place where students can discover their strengths, develop new skills, and learn how to push through challenges. Every practice and match he sees the athlete become more disciplined, confident, and resilient. For Coach Froh, winning is great, but seeing student athletes mature and grow is what truly matters.
