Godley loves to coach based on this quote by John Wooden, to encourage and train his athletes to their best.

He has been a coach for 35 years, 5 at the college level and 30 years as a high school Head Coach. One of his favorite memories over all his years coaching is Bonita beating Ayala with a buzzer beating 3-pointer with 0.6 seconds left of the game to tie them for the league championship.

Classic Rock is his go to hype music before a game and mentally gets locked in by completing the “same thing every time, dress at the same time, carry my clothes the same way.” and follow his routine precisely on game day.
