Introducing Bonita High School’s Boys Varsity Soccer Head Coach, Alex Chavez!

Coach Chavez has played soccer ever since he could walk and enjoys continuing to be a part of the soccer community as he has been on the coaching staff for 5 years at Bonita! He appreciates having the opportunity to watch his players not only grow to become better at their sport, but better as individuals as well.

Something surprising about Coach Chavez is that he is currently in college, studying business!

“If you’re not uncomfortable in training, you’re not doing enough to elevate your game” is his favorite coaching motto.

Some memorable moments for Coach Chavez as a player himself, was winning the league title while playing in high school and being a part of a strong brotherhood. As a coach, the CIF games from the 2024 season were very memorable for him as well.

Congratulations to both Coach Chavez and the Boys Soccer team for their win over the rivalry game against the San Dimas Saints, and good luck for the rest of the season!
