The Bonita Volleyball team is currently in 4th place for the Palomares league with a 9-7 record. They are looking to the finishing the season strong with their consistent teamwork and passion for the game.

The Volleyball team has started strong highlighted by a five-set battle against Alta Loma and a sweep over Don Lugo. Leading the way this season is Sara Yeats, whose powerful kills and steady presence have made her the Bearcats’ go-to scorer in close sets. Tested by tough opponents, the team has had strong home performances, setting the stage for an exciting second half league run.

This team has shown incredible growth this season, led by dedicated team captains Madison Van Duyne and Sara Yeats who set the tone with their leadership and determination. They have all improved when it comes to playing together as a team on the court. Although they have no seniors, they continue to hold their ground. With each game, they continue to grow stronger as a team, setting the stage for an exciting season.

After speaking with Varsity Captain, Madison Van Duyne, she states, “Even though we haven't had the best start in League, I'm excited for the next half of it because I think we have a shot of coming back and winning!¨

With their season already underway, the Bonita Bearcats are set to face Ayala on Monday, September 29th. As they head into the second half of league play, the Bearcats are focused on turning their competitive edge into consistent results a strong season is well within reach for the Bearcats!
