The girls’ flag football team has been putting on some amazing performances this season, holding an impressive 13–4 record. The Bearcats are turning heads with their energy, intensity, and standout plays on the field. They stood out so much, in fact, that the Los Angeles Rams made an appearance at their game because they received the women's flag football game of the week, which was sponsored by Albertsons.
The flag football team earned this recognition thanks to top players like Haley Kurey, Leah Reynolds, Kendra Anderson, and Tressa Beatty, who have consistently made crucial plays all season. During recent games, the team delivered exciting moments, showcasing their skill and determination. Notable stats from the La Serna game are Tressa Beatty, who threw for 166 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 42 yards and one touchdown. Another amazing stat from that game was from Bonita's defense, which consisted of Marley Flores, Haley Kurey, and Julia Bowman, who sacked the QB three times.
This season, the team has made impressive strides, guided by the leadership of their captains, Tressa Beatty, Marley Flores, Kody McKinney, and Leah Reynolds. As the girls’ flag football team has ended preseason and started league play, their excitement and determination keep growing. Currently, they have a 2–1 record in the league, and they look forward to playing Ayala in the coming week.
